Bache-Martin School’s third annual Bache in Bloom fundraiser will take place on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. We are especially looking forward to coming together as a community this year since we have been unable to celebrate Bache in Bloom since 2019. We hope you'll be there, too.

Bache in Bloom is the Bache-Martin School’s annual family fun night, silent auction and raffle. The event is free and open to the community! The proceeds from Bache in Bloom help Friends of Bache-Martin and the Home & School Association pay for many of the school’s year-round K-8 programs, including Give & Go Recess coaches, Fall Fest, and the operations of our school library. Our overall event goal is $15,000.

Bache-Martin has been a fixture of the Fairmount, Francisville, Spring Garden, and Brewerytown communities for over a century. The K-8 public school serves nearly 500 students and the diverse student body includes children from the surrounding neighborhoods, as well as students with special needs from across Philadelphia.

The vitality of a neighborhood school, like Bache-Martin, has a direct impact on its surrounding community and businesses. As an important part of our community, Bache-Martin contributes positively to the quality of life for all of us living nearby.

In order to keep this event free for the children of Bache-Martin, and in order to meet our fundraising goal, we need you, our Bache-Martin families and neighbors. We are asking classes and neighborhood blocks to help sponsor the event. We are hoping that each grade and at least 10 neighborhood blocks will raise at least $250 ($5,000 total) toward our overall event goal of $15,000. We'll tally and recognize our collective contributions at the event and on social media.
